Decal transfer (DT)is regarded as a most effective method of preparing the catalyst layer (CL)in PEMFC. However, the relation between fabrication procedures and characteristics of membrane electrode assembly (MEA) is not clearly examined, yet. In this work, the effect of the solvent is investigated by applying different solventsin the DT. CV,DC polarization andEIS was measured to analyzecell polarization andthree-phase boundary (TPB) in the CLs. The results show that more viscous solvent have advantages in preparing theCL with excellent TPB morphology. |
