제목 Milled Grinding Synthesis of Double Metal Cyanide Complex for the Copolymerization of Epoxides and CO2
초록 Zn3[Co(CN)6] based double metal cyanide complexes are excellent catalysts for both the ring-opening polymerization of epoxides and the copolymerization of epoxides and CO2. Double metal cyanide (DMC) complexes were successfully synthesized by the ball mill grinding method. A comparative study of the influence of ball mill grinding synthesis of DMC has been done along with conventionally synthesized DMC. The effect of grinding parameters and the role of various complexing agents for the efficient synthesis of DMC have been carried out in detail. Characterizations like XRD, XPS, FT-IR, 1H-NMR, and GPC were performed to confirm the structural formation of DMC complexes. The ball mill synthesized DMC complexes were tested for the efficient solvent-free copolymerization of epoxides and CO2.
