제목 Fabrication and characterization of genipin crosslinked BCP particle loaded gelatin microsphere for BMP-2 and gentamicin delivery.
초록  Main objective of this study was to fabricate Bi phasic calcium phosphate (BCP) leaded gelatin microsphere for control delivery of BMP-2 and gentamicin, Gentamicin was loaded for the antibacterial functioning. This fabricated microsphere was crosslinked by genipin for the prolonged release of BMP-2. This composite system is expected to enhace bone regeneration by the presence of BCP particle, BMP-2 signaling and anti bacterial efficacy. fabricated microsphere was characterized by SEM (scanning electron microscopy) observation, EDX, degradation behavior, initial bio compatibility study with MC3T3-E1 preosteoblast cell line, release behavior of BMP-2 and gentamicin etc. presence of gelatin was confirmed by FTIR. And release of gentamicine was studied by HPLC (high performance liquid chromatography). Cell attachment and proliferation were higher in the presence of BMP-2 and gentamicin loaded microsphere. Bone remodeling gene and protein expression were observed by real-time polymerase chain reaction and Western blot respectively.
