제목 Self-aggregation Behavior of Amphiphilic Polyaspartamide Derivatives Containing Cholesterol Moiety
초록 Biodegradable amphiphilic copolymers were successfully synthesized by conjugating varied densities of cholesterol moieties onto hydrophilic poly(amino acid)s. These poly(amino acid)s were established from polysuccinimde (PSI) backbone, the thermal polycondensation product of L-aspartic acid, via the ring-opening reaction with hydrophilic multi-functional pendant groups including ethanolamine (EA) and N-isopropylethylenediamine (NIPEDA); in there, the content of NIPEDA was from 0% up to 50%, and the higher content allowed more cholesterol molecules conjugated to the polymer chain. These copolymers were self-assembled and formed core-shell nanoparticles in aqueous solution, as evidenced by DLS measurement on their particle size distribution. The physicochemical properties of the copolymers have been also reported here.
