제목 Fabrication of polymeric films using complex laminar flow in microfluidic devices: Toward multiplex immunoassays
초록 Currently diagnostics in microfluidic devices are regarded as common tools for point-of-care applications owing to the processing ability of body fluids. However, microfluidic bioanalysis has drawbacks such as limited numbers of sample processing and elaborated procedures for integrated devices. Therefore, this study suggested the microfluidic platform to fabricate multiplex films with desired biochemical receptors which would specifically bind to analytes of interest. The system employed flow lithography for generation of cross-linked hydrogel films. We made vertical laminar flows of three stacks whose two stacks for non-photocrosslinkable carrier flows at channel walls and a middle stack containing photocrosslinkable fluid with particular receptors. Carrier flows helped a mass production of films by preventing clogging of channels. Moreover a device with multi-inlets of photocrosslinkable fluids provided the on-demand platform for mass production of multiplex films for immunoassays.
