In this study, we study about the phase behavior of polystyrene-graft-polyisoprene (PS-g-PI) in thin film. The PS-g-PIs used in this study was prepared by anionic polymerization. All PI branches have the same molecular weight and they are equally spaced on PS backbone. Their morphologies are observed by grazing incidence small angle X-ray scattering (GISAXS) and transmission electron microtomography (TEMT). To alleviate the packing frustration in interface of two blocks, a domain boundary of PS-g-PI prefers a curved shape. This tendency causes a shift of order-order boundary in the phase diagram to higher composition of PI arms. In addition, not only the phase shift, but also the change of LAM orientation is observed. |
