제목 Human skin-inspired Multimodal Electronic Skins Differentiating Temperature, Static and Dynamic Touch
초록 By mimicking a sensory system of human skin, many efforts to develop multifunctional electronic skin have been recently proceeded. However, difficulties of simultaneous detection and differentiation of various applied stimuli such as mechanical forces and environmental changes still remain owing to their low sensitivities and single signal transduction mode. Here, we introduce a novel e-skin designed by interlocking system with conductive composite films composed of microdome-shaped arrays. The unique structure offers a concentrating stress and exclusive changes in contact area under multidirectional applied mechanical stimuli, leading to high sensitivities and multimodal detection capabilities. Our e-skin is also operated by both ferroelectric and piezoresistive properties, which enables differentiation of dynamic and static touches, and temperature. We finally show various applications in highly sensitive and directional tactile sensors and the human-health monitoring devices.
