Dendrimer has well defined 3-D branched structure with multiple end groups. It has nanoscopic size, narrow polydispersity index and available to change its property by modify multiple end groups. Due to its unique properties, Dendrimer have wide potential applications; catalysis, liquid crystal, sensors and biomedical applications and so on. The application of Dendrimer in biomedical field is currently drawing a lot of scientific attention. In this study, we apply cascade-release Dendrimer to drug delivery. There are some applications for drug delivery using Dendrimer, but we choose cascade-release for give hypoxia sensitive. In hypoxic condition, trigger in the core of Dendrimer cause that multiple generations of building blocks and end groups are released. Modifying with prodrug, inactive form of drugs by blocked amine group, cascade-release Dendrimer could act with drug delivery carrier. |
