Due to the depletion of fossil fuel, energy generation development was needed. So organic photovoltaics (OPVs) have been widely studied because of many advantages such as eco-friendly, lightweight, low cost. Conjugated polymers based on 6-(2-thienyl)-4H-thieno[3,2-b]indole (TTI) and isoindigo (ID), PTTIID, PTTIID-3, PTTIID-5 and PTTIID-7 were synthesized. Photovoltaic properties were improved when the isoindigo(ID) ratio increased As compared to the PTTIID-5, the PTTIID-7 showed higher JSC, FF and PCE values. The device comprising PTTIID-7 and PC71BM (1:2) showed VOC of 0.64 V, a JSC of 10.8 mA/cm2, and a fill factor (FF) of 0.48, giving a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 3.32%. The device comprising PTTIID-7 and PC71BM (1:2) with chloronaphthalene (CN) additive showed a VOC of 0.63 V, a JSC of 12.3 mA/cm2, and a fill factor (FF) of 0.52, giving a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 4.03%. |
