제목 Prevention of gelation of conducting polymer on aluminum surface with hydrophobic coating
초록 The facilities for production of LCD and OLED are increasing as the demand of LCD and OLED keeps growing. Ink jet printer that is used in patterning of conducting polymer is widely used in industries to manufacture LCD and OLED. However, the conducting polymer which is stored in an aluminum container makes some problem such as gelation on the printer head. In this study, aluminum surface was treated with various hydrophobic coatings to prevent the gelation of conducting polymer. Fluoridation treatment, silane treatment, and hydrocarbon treatment were carried out as hydrophobic coating methods. The suppression of gelation was evaluated by measuring the gel content for the various surface treatments prevention after aluminum specimen was dipped in conducting polymer solution for a predetermined period of time.
