제목 Scattering Studies on Ion-Containing Block Copolymers
초록 Recently, great attentions have been paid to ion-containing polymers for a variety of applications such as electro-active actuators, lithium batteries, and proton exchange membrane fuel cells. In particular, when the ion-containing polymers composed of hydrophobic and hydrophilic chains, strong segregation between two phases is induced, which results in a wide variety of self-assembled morphologies such as lamellae, perforated lamellae, hexagonal cylinder, and spherical domains. In present study, we carried out an in-depth analysis of the morphology effects on electrochemical and photoelectric properties of ion-containing block copolymers. The ion transport in ion-containing block copolymers was found to be facilitated by the decrease in the ionic domain sizes, which was rationalized by the different proximity of acid groups at the surfaces of ionic domains. In addition, the degree of ionic interaction is revealed as an important parameter in determining the self-assembly nature.
