제목 Nanoemulsion-like polymersomes shuttles between water and ionic liquids  for nanoreactors
초록 Self-assembly of block copolymers in selective solvents provides a means to control nanostructures. Among selective solvents, ionic liquids (ILs) are of interest as reaction media, with the possibility of replacing organic solvents. However, the implementation ILs is limited by their high viscosity. Phase transfer of IL-filled polymersomes from the IL phase to water produces a very stable kind of nanoemulsion. The phase transfer of poly(1,2-butadiene)-b-poly(ethylene oxide) and polystyrene-b-poly(ethylene oxide) polymersomes from an ionic liquid, [EMIM][TFSI], into water was used as a model system for a reversible nanoreactor system. In this talk, the issues in this reversible nanoreactor system will be discussed: (i) design a new reaction process with the IL-filled polymersomes; (ii) control the polymersome size; (iii) elucidate transport phenomena across the bilayer membrane; (iv) demonstrate a general boundary for the phase transfer of the polymersomes.
