제목 Synthesis of activated ketjenblacks and their hydrogen storage behaviors
초록 In this work, we have prepared porous carbons as adsorbents by using KOH activation of ketjenblacks (KB) to improve hydrogen storage capacity. The structural and morphological properties were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscope (SEM), respectively. The textural properties were investigated by N2/77 K adsorption isotherms using Brunauer-Emmett-Teller (BET) equation. The meso and micropore size distributions were calculated by the Barrett-Joyner-Halenda (BJH) equation and Horvath–Kawazoe (HK) method, respectively. The hydrogen storage capacities were analyzed at 77 K/1 bar. It was found that the hydrogen storage behaviors were greatly enhanced by chemical activation that increases specific surface area of the prepared samples.
