In recent, we try to use a hybrid approach based on ion containing polymers for realizing magnetism at room temperature. As well known, the ion containing polymers can have spin moments from metal elements, but are in amorphous phase without any long-range order mediated by ligand atoms, so that it is difficult to expect strong magnetism at room-temperature. Even at a very low-temperature, strong magnetic properties including weak ferro- or antiferro-magnetisms may not be possible because of lack of long-range magnetic interactions mediated by ligand atoms. In this study, therefore, we challenge to find such a charge transfer effect according to various anionic acid moieties by infrared spectroscopy and Raman scattering, and finally relate them to variations of magnetisms of diverse ion containing polymers. |
