제목 Thermal Analysis of Polylactide/bamboo fiber biocomposite treated with various coupling agent
초록 The biocomposite materials were composed of biodegradable polymer matrix and natural reinforcement. The biocomposite materials can alternate to synthesis polymer composite materials which emit many by-products after service. Unfortunately, the biocomposite materials showed poor thermal and mechanical properties, because the natural reinforcement exhibited lower properties compare to synthesis reinforcement such as glass fiber and carbon fiber. Various coupling agent were applied to enhance thermal and mechanical properties of polylactide/bamboo fiber biocomposites. The polylactide/bamboo fiber biocomposite treated with a silane coupling agent (SA), maleaic anhydride (MA) and acrylic acid (AA) were prepared by melt compounding. Thermal property of prepared PLA/bamboo fiber biocomposite was investigated using thermal gravimetric analysis.
