제목 Synthesis of PEO-Based Block Copolymer by Controlled Radical Polymerization Techniques
초록 Poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) basd amphiphilic block copolymers has attracted attention due to the phase separation behavior. The amphiphilic block copolymers with different molecular weights can be used as a wide variety of materials with nanoscale structures such as biomaterials and mesoporous carbons by controlling its blocks length. Controlled radical polymerization could be good choice th prepare such amphiphilic block copolymers. In this work, PEO-based block copolymers were synthesized via ATRP (Atom transfer radical polymerization) and RAFT (Reversible addition fragmentation chain transfer) polymerization. ATRP was used to prepare polystyrene block copolymers with PEO, and RAFT process was used fr the synthesis of polyacrylonitrile block copolymer. The effect of the polymerization conditions will be descussed.
