Antireflection(AR) coatings have been widely applied in optical system to improve light efficiency and to make better image quality. To achieve good AR behavior, we embedded hollow mesoporous silica nanoparticles(HMSNs) onto highly transparent plastic substrate such as polycarbonate(PC), which thickness is 450nm. HMSNs were synthesized by using simple Stober method and cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB) as a structure-directing agent. The deposition of HMSNs onto PC was carried out by spray coating. Subsequently, HMSNs were treated by being exposed to a various solvent vapor such as methyl chloride(MC), tetrahydrofuran(THF) and chloroform. The information of HMSNs was confirmed by SEM and TEM. We observed optical properties by measuring transmittance and reflectance. We calculated refractive index(RI) and investigated the surface topography on flat surface by AFM. |
