제목 | Synthesis of transition metal-doped TiO2 and photocatalytic activity under visible light |
초록 | The aim of this study is to synthesize a metal-doped on TiO2 for the enhancement of photocatalytic activity under visible light. Doping enhanced the visible light absorption of the material by shifting the absorption onset to visible region. We synthesized transition metal-doped titanium dioxide by using a sol-gel method. The prepared samples were characterized using X-ray diffraction, X-ray flourescence spectrometry, and UV-vis spectroscopy. The obtained doped TiO2 showed advanced photocatalytic activity under UV and also visible light. This study indicates an effective route to produce efficient photoactive doped anatase.
