Synthesis and Characterization of Pt doped-TiO2 Nanoparticles by a Hydrothermal Processing |

Pt doped-TiO2 nanoparticles were prepared under hydrothermal condition by precipitation from metal nitrates with aqueous ammonium hydroxide. The nanoparticles were obtained at temperatures as low 150 to 200℃. The microstructure and phase of the powder were studied by SEM(FE-SEM) and XRD. The properties of the Pt doped-TiO2 particles were studied as a function of various parameters (reaction temperature, reaction time, solute concentration). The average particles size of the synthesized Pt doped-TiO2 increased with increasing reaction temperature. The average size of the synthesized Pt doped-TiO2 nanoparticles were about 20~30 nm by reaction temperature at 170℃ for 4h. |
