제목 Reduction Characteristics of Lean NOX and N2O over MMO Catalysts Using Cyclic Operation
초록 The catalytic reduction of lean NOX and N2O over MMO catalysts of Al/Pd/Co (1/0.1/1) and Ni/K (1/1) was performed with cyclic operation of lean NOx adsorption and reduction by CO. The catalysts were obtained by co-precipitation of metal nitrates with addition of the precipitants followed by calcinations. The reactions were carried out under 3atm gauge pressure in the temperature range of 100-500°C and space velocities were set around 30,000/h. The performance of MMO catalysts using cyclic operation showed an excellent selectivity and adsorption capability for NOx and N2O in the presence of oxygen. The reduction efficiencies of cyclic operation were generally higher with the reduced cycle time. However the reduction of simple desorption peak during purge step remains as the problem to be solved.
