Precise Synthesis of Polystyrene-based Macromonomers via Living Anionic Polymerization and Their Graft Polymerization |
초록 |
Living anionic polymerization is one of the most powerful tools for preparing well-defined polymers with predictable molecular weight and narrow molecular distribution. ω-end-functionalized polymers terminated by alkyl halogen-, diphenylethylene-, benzaldehyde-labile gruops have been widely studied by using this technique. However, Synthesis of well-defined polymers, end-functionalized with the bridged cyclic hydrocarbon, such as norbornene units, still suffer from complicated side reactions triggered by initiators and carbanion. Facile synthetic tools for macromonomers containing norbornene groups were required. In this study, we focused on novel preparation of well-defined macromonomers with polystyrene moieties and norbornene as end groups by means of living anionic polymerization and developed synthesis of brush copolymers. |
