제목 Nanoconfinement of P(VDF-TrFE) Ferroelectric crystal on self assembled block copolymer
초록 Ferroelectric polymeric materials such as poly vinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and its copolymer with trifluoroethylene (TrFE) are particularly of interest for non-volatile flexible memory. For low voltage operation of the polymer devices, it is necessary to fabricate as thin polymer films as possible with large crystallinity and effective crystal orientation maintained over broad temperature range. We investigate the nanoconfinement of ferroelectric P(VDF-TrFE) crystal on highly oriented PS-b-PEO and OS hybrid system. The nanoconfined P(VDF-TrFE) crystal shows the formation and ordering of ferroelectric crystalline domains so that the performance of the thin film capacitor is enhanced at high temperature. The enhanced P(VDF-TrFE) capacitor was evidenced by the remnant polarization and coercive voltage of approximately 4.8C/cm2and 6.6V, respectively after thermal annealing above tm of P(VDF-TrFE). The resulting ferroelectric P(VDF-TrFE) films are measured by AFM, SEM, P-E loop, and GIXD.
