Enhanced performance on the polymer light emitting diodes by using alcohol/water soluble discotic liquid crystals |
초록 |
Polymer light emitting diodes (PLEDs) are an attractive emerging technology with potential advantageous features, such as mechanical flexibility and solution processability. However, the performance and cost of solution-processed PLEDs still need to be improved for commercialization. To enhance the performance of polymer light emitting diodes the alcohol/water soluble discotic liquid crystals(DLCs) were introduced as an electron transport layer (ETL). DLCs have high charge mobility through their one-dimensional columnar axis. PLED devices were successfully fabricated through solution process. In the PLED devices with DLC interlayers, electron mobility of devices were improved and device performances were enhanced. |
