제목 Enhanced performance on the polymer light emitting diodes by using alcohol/water soluble discotic liquid crystals
초록 Polymer light emitting diodes (PLEDs) are an attractive emerging technology with potential advantageous features, such as mechanical flexibility and solution processability. However, the performance and cost of solution-processed PLEDs still need to be improved for commercialization. To enhance the performance of polymer light emitting diodes the alcohol/water soluble discotic liquid crystals(DLCs) were introduced as an electron transport layer (ETL). DLCs have high charge mobility through their one-dimensional columnar axis. PLED devices were successfully fabricated through solution process. In the PLED devices with DLC interlayers, electron mobility of devices were improved and device performances were enhanced.
