제목 Synthesis of Star-Shaped PVA via Cobalt-Mediated Radical Polymerization
초록 Star-shaped polymers have attracted considerable attention on account of their unique physicochemical properties compared with their linear counterparts. Star-shaped poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) may have a variety of biomedical and pharmaceutical applications because it can provide a high density of functional groups in a small volume. In this study, star-shaped poly(vinyl acetate) (PVAc) was first synthesized by cobalt-mediated radical polymerization (CMRP) with divinylbenzene as a cross-linker. The hydrolysis of the star-shaped PVAc generated star-shaped PVA. The star-shaped PVA was characterized using FT-IR, GPC, and 1H-NMR analysis
