Expanded graphites (EGs) could be characterized by interesting mechanical, electrical and chemical properties, and they are used widely in industry and academic fields. Properties of EGs are still studied using various methods. In this work, palladium nanoparticles supported on EGs were prepared by using electroless plating technique. The effects of electroless-plated Pb on high pressure hydrogen storage behaviors of EGs were studied. The pore structure was analyzed by N2/77K adsorption isotherms. Specific surface areas and total pore volumes were measured by BET and D-R equations, respectively. Surface properties of the Pd/EGs were determined by XRD and SEM. The high pressure hydrogen storage behaviors of the EGs were studied by using PCT apparatus at 100 bar and 298K. |
