Graphene is frequently used as supports to load Platinum nanoparticles as catalyst for the electrochemical oxidation of methanol in direct methanol fuel cell. The key in designing highly active catalysts in the dispersion of Pt nanoparticles on Graphene surface. However, grahene have a tendency to aggregation by van ver walls force interaction. In order to this problem, platinum-mwcnt-dopamine modified graphene oxides was prepared via chemical reduction process in solution. This three dimensional structure exposes extensive surface area for evenly depositing Pt nanoparticles, leading to the highly catalytic performances of resultant materials. In addition, the remarkable property of Pt/MWCNT/PDA-RGO composite was demonstrated CV, FE-SEM, TEM, XPS and FT-IR. |
