CRYSTAL STRUCTURES AND FERROELECTRIC PROPERTIES OF POLY(VINYLIDENE FLUORIDE)-CARBON NANO TUBE NANOCOMPOSITE FILM |

The structure and ferroelectric properties of poly(vinylidene fluoride)-carbon nano tube nanocomposite film were studied in this study. The contents of carbon nano tube were from 0.1wt% to 1wt%. For inducing piezoelectric beta-crystal structure, the hot-pressed nano composite films were drawn by 400% elongation. After that, the samples were poled at high voltage and high temperature for polarization of the film. The beta-crystalline increased with CNT contents. The poling procedure had an influence on the polarization of crystal structure change. The crystal phase transition of PVDF-CNT nanocomposites were characterized by FT-IR, DSC, and WAXD experiments. The structural changes was influenced by on the CNT contents, drawing conditions, and poling. The maximum amount of beta-crystalline could be produced by optimum conditions in this study. |
