To enhance the performance of organic electronic devices, such as polymer light emitting diodes(PLEDs) and organic photovoltaics(OPVs), the alcohol/water soluble discotic liquid crystals(DLCs) were introduced as an interlayer materials. DLCs have high charge mobility through their one-dimensional columnar axis. PLEDs and OPVs were successfully fabricated through solution process. In the organic electronic devices with DLC interlayers, electron transporting ability of devices were improved and device performances were enhanced. |
