Carbon nanotubes(CNTs) are materials with excellent flexibility, mechanical strength, and thermal conductivity. we prepared Polypyrrole (PPy) was coated on the surface of graphene nanosheets (GNS) and carbon nanotubes(CNTs) through in situ chemical oxidation polymerization of pyrrole monomers in the presence of graphene suspension in HCl solution. Enhanced electrochemical performance of the PPy-GNS-CNTs electrode could be due to increasing active sites for the deposition of polypyrrole provided by large surface areas of graphene nanosheets and the synergistic effect between polypyrrole and graphene oxide and multi-walled carbon nanotube. The morphology, structure and crystallinity of the composites were examined by Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM). Electrochemical properties were characterized by cyclic voltammetry (CV) in 1M NaNO3 electrolyte. |
