The recent advances in 3D printing technology have achieved many interests in diverse applications due to its handiness and custom-made properties. Despite the rapid development in 3D printing technology, the number of polymeric candidates for 3D-printing is still rather limited in conventional materials. Herein we demonstrate the Nylon-6/graphene composite can be used as a promising material for 3D printing, satisfying both of electrical conductivity and physical strength. Morphological and chemical characterizations of the synthesized composite confirm the well-conjugated graphene sheets with nylon-6 fiber depending on their component ratio. As-prepared bulk composite was utilized into a filament formation, and usable directly in 3D-printing machine to manufacture the products. These applications will bring an impact on the preparation and application in 3D printing technology. |
