제목 A Process Development of Laurolactam via Beckmann Rearrangement; the Monomer for Thermoplastic Elastomers
초록  Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) are attractive materials in the field of engineering plastics due to their properties of both being plastics and rubbery materials. Among the TPEs, the demand of the polyamide is increasing owing to their good thermal stability, and excellent chemical and hydrolytic resistance. Although TPEs have come into the spotlight in the industrial application, relatively high price of monomer disturb the domestically production.
 In this presentation, we research the cost-effective synthesis of the laurolactam as a monomer of TPEs and the process development of laurolactam synthesis via Beckmann rearrangement is researched on the fully conversion of the intermediate. Herein, we report a study on development of financial point that low price process and cost-effective reaction are applied on the laurolacatm synthesis.
