제목 Work-Function Engineering of Reduced Graphene Oxides via Direct Surface Functionalization
초록 We have studied stable and efficient doping behavior of reduced graphene oxide (RGO) by constructing self-assembled monolayers (SAMs) on RGO-electrode surfaces. Considering electron-withdrawing and –donating properties of functional groups, two kinds of alkylsilanes were employed for p- and n-type doping of RGOs. Various thin film characteristics of SAM functionalized RGOs such as surface energy, sheet resistance, charge transport behavior and work function were thoroughly investigated. Work function-tuned RGO electrodes via SAMs were utilized as source and drain electrodes of organic transistors. The energetic matching between the modified RGO electrodes and organic semiconductors produced dramatically enhanced transistor performance.
