제목 일체형 재생연료전지용 저가형 탄화수소계 고분자막의 제조
초록 The sulfonated poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide (PPO) was fabricated for the unitized regenerative fuel cells (URFCs). Typically, PPO has been known that it is a high molecular weight polymer (MW 68,100) and low cost material ($10/kg). Based on this background, PPO has been applied to URFC. PPO is successfully sulfonated via post-sulfonation process that is confirmed by FT-IR and NMR in this study. sPPO membrane shows good dimensional stability due to the non-hydroscopic character of PPO and comparable proton conductivity with Nafion membrane. Therefore, it can be considered as a matrix polymer material for the proton exchange membrane of URFC.
