제목 Long-term stability study of quantum dot enhancement film (QDEF) prepared using QD-microcapsule
초록 Quantum dots (QDs) are an emerging material for display or illumination applications due to its excellent optical properties. However, QDs are still not proper for commercial applications because properties of QDs are easily degraded by aggregation in polymer matrix and environmental factors such as heat, moisture, and oxygen. We designed multi-lamellar microcapsule using semi-crystalline polymers via self-assembly, where QDs are well-dispersed on 2 dimensional crystal plate observed by TEM. We applied the QD-microcapsule to QDEF and exposed it to blue LED under accelerated environments and observed long-term stability.
