Spiro-based materials have been widely investigated in the area of organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). We have synthesized Spirobifluorene derivatives, 7-bis(10-(naphthalen-2-yl)anthracen-9-yl)-9,9'-spirobifluorene[NASF] and 9,10-bis(9',9''-spirobifluorene-2-yl)anthracene[SFA]. We characterized electrochemical and optical properties by NMR, FAB+-Mass, Cyclic Voltammetry, UV-Vis and photoluminescence analysis. NASF and SFA showed PL maximum values of 456nm and 453nm. ITO/2-TNATA/NPB/NASF(I)/Alq3/LiF/Al device showed sky blue EL color and 3.67cd/A luminance efficiency at CIE values x=0.213, y=0.309. ITO/2-TNATA/NPB/SFA(II)/Alq3/LiF/Al device showed blue EL color and 2.40cd/A luminance efficiency at CIE values x=0.163, y=0.200. |
