제목 Pressure effect on phase behavior of polystyrene-block-poly(n-alkyl methacrylate) Copolymers
초록 The effects of pressure on phase behavior of weakly-interacting block copolymers was investigated by small-angle neutron (SANS) and temperature-dependent Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). For this purpose, a series of deuterated polystyrene-block-poly(n-alkyl methacrylate) (PS- PAnMA) copolymers with different n values (from 1 to 6) were prepared by anionic polymerization. We investigated, via two-dimensional hetero-spectral correlation analysis of wide angle X-ray scattering (WAXS) and FTIR, the specific chemical interactions existing in PS-PnPMA. The specific interaction between the PS and PnPMA blocks mainly arises from the dipole in the benzene ring of PS and the induced dipole in the PnPMA due to the cluster formation with a size of 1~2 nm. We found that the synchronous 2D WAXS-IR hetero-spectral correlation spectrum of the ordered state was completely different from that in the two disordered states.
