제목 Facile Synthesis of Linear ABCD Tetrablock Copolymer by Combining ATRP and Click Coupling Approach
초록 We report the synthesis of well-defined linear ABCD tetrablock copolymer of poly(butyl acrylate)-b-polystyene-b-poly(methyl acrylate)-b-poly(methyl methacrylate) by combining ATRP and click coupling approach. For this purpose, polystyrene-b-poly (butyl acrylate)(AB) was prepared by ATRP using macroinitiator as α-(TMS)-alkyn ω-bromo polystyrene. α-(TMS) end of AB diblock copolymer was deprotected using TBAF in THF. Azido end CD diblock copolymer was made from poly(methyl methacrylate)-b-poly(methyl acrylate)(CD) via transformation of bromine chain end by simple nucleophillic substitution reaction with NaN3 in DMF. Then coupling reaction between ω-azide end in CD diblock copolymer with α-alkyn end in AB diblock copolymer was performed by Cu1-catalyzed (3+2) cycloaddition. Gel Permeation analysis confirms the successful formation of tetrablock copolymer by a shift of molecular weight towards higher value.
