제목 Enhancement of transfection efficiency through low molecular weight water soluble chitosan nanoparticle modified with folate / DNA complexes
초록 The aim of this work was to synthesize and characterize of LMWSC(low molecular weight water soluble chitosan) modified with tumor cell targeting ligand. The mechanism of folic acid (FA) uptake in the cells to promote targeting and internalization could improve transfection rates. The self-assembly of the pEGFP plasmid/polymer were use to transfection study. furthermore, their cytotoxity was evaluated in vitro. In 1H NMR spectra, specific peaks appeared both of Folic acid and LMWSC in D2O. WSCFA nanoparticles have spherical shapes with particle size show below 110nm. WSCFA nanoparticles have less cytotoxicity, good DNA condensation and particle size around 110nm, which makes them a promising candidate as a non-viral gene vector.
