제목 Temperature sensing behavior of PEDOT thin film
초록 The resistance of conducting polymers shows a typical NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) behavior that the resistance decreases with increasing temperature. This characteristic is applicable to the thin film thermistor. In this study, resistance change of PEDOT thin film by temperature fluctuation was investigated. PEDOT thin film was fabricated by in-situ polymerization with EDOT as a monomer and FTS as an oxidant. Polymerization was proceeded at 70℃ for 30min on a hot plate. In case of pristine PEDOT thin film, resistance was decreased with increasing temperature, but after repeat test, the resistance at a certain temperature showed an upward tendency. After thermal treatment at 120℃, the resistance was stabilized. It means that the resistance at a certain temperature didn’t change after repeat test. Consequently, the stabilized PEDOT thin film after thermal treatment is applicable to the thin film thermistor.
