제목 Investigation of Product Fractions from Hydrothermal Liquefaction  of Tetraselmis sp. KCTC 12236BP
초록 Microalgal bioenergy can replace fossil energy and while reducing its greenhouse gas emissions. Hydrothermal liquefaction (HTL) of microalgae would be an attractive conversion method by skipping energy intensive drying steps from aquatic biomass. HTL of Tetraselmis sp. was investigated in a water subcritical range of temperatures (300-350oC) with various reaction times (up to 60 min) using a batch type reactor. Four different product fractions (gas, biocrude, aqueous phase, and solid) were quantified and analyzed. As a results, fatty acids were the most abundant components in biocrude, and N-containing compounds were increased as reaction temperature elevated. The obtained maximum weight biocrude oil yield was 52.1% of biomass at 300oC and 60 min reaction time, the yield of energy returned as a biocrude was 80% of total energy of starting biomass
