제목 | Physical-chemical properties of graphite foams produced from fluorinated mesophase pitch |
초록 | In order to improve the compressive strength of graphite foam (GF), Mesophase pitch (MP) was firstly stabilized in air atmosphere and then fluorinated at different conditions. Thus, the fluorinated MP having the range of 23.75% ~ 61.48% of F/C (%) was acquired with different fluorine partial pressure. The compressive strength of GF prepared using fluorinated MP was increased in proportion to the apparent density of composites. The compressive strength of the GF prepared using MP with 35.93% of F/C (%) showed maximum value in 2.93 ± 0.06 MPa, which was increased up to 27.95% than those of the GF prepared un-fluorinated MP.
