Synthesis and Characterization of donor-acceptor structure using Dioxopyrrole Derivative and Benzodithiophene for OPVs |

Organic electronic devices such as light-emitting diodes, field effect transistors, and photovoltaic devices have various advantages compared to conventional inorganic devices. In this study, we synthesized a push and pull structured polymer using the push structure of Benzodithiophene and pull structure of Dioxopyrrole. Here Benzodithiophene is a good donor material which has higher mobility due to superior interchain interaction and a low HOMO level. Moreover, it can be prepared easily and cheaply compared with other reported electron donor materials. In addition, We introduce new pull structure with Dioxopyrrole derivative for absorbing long wave length and charge separation. We measured UV-absorption, GPC, TGA, DSC and CV properties. And then, we characterized photovoltaic property. |
