제목 Synthesis of amino-functionalized graphene quantum dots for detection of copper ions
초록 Herein, a facile and green strategy for preparing amino-functionalized graphene quantum dots (Am-GQDs) has been developed for excellent selectivity and sensitivity toward Copper ions via one-step hydrothermal of glucose as carbon source and ammonium as a functionalizing agent.  The as-obtained quantum dots possess uniform size, high solubility and bright green emission with high quantum yield as high as 32.8%. Furthermore, the quantum dots exhibits highly selective and sensitive response to Cu2+ which can be serve as effective fluorescent probe for high determination of Cu2+. Upon adding to the increasing concentration of Copper ions, the fluorescence intensity of graphene quantum dots based sensing system was gradually quenched and showed linear detection range of 50 nM- 30 μM with a low detection limit of 5.6 nM. It may be attributed to interaction between copper ions and amino (-NH2) groups on the GQDs surface to form cupric amine complex. These results demonstrate that amino-functionalized GQDs may promise a new way for Cu2+ quantification in practical detection related to biological system.
