제목 The effects of fluorination on carbon felt electrodes for vanadium redox flow batteries
초록 In this work, the thermal fluorination of carbon felt electrode for vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB) was studied. The thermally fluorination of carbon felt was performed different temperatures(RT, 100, 200, 300, 400 °C) to investigate the effect of the F2 content. Surface of fluorinated carbon felt was confirmed by SEM and XPS. The prepared carbon felt was applied for the electrode to VRFB. The cell energy efficiency was improved from 74 to 82% after the thermal fluorination of carbon felt at 100 °C.
