제목 Effect of carbon felt heat treatment method on the electrode performance for all Vanadium Redox Flow Batteries
초록 In the electrodes for all vanadium redox flow batteries, it is very important to reduce the electrodes resistance and increase the electrochemical activity. a carbon felt is commonly used as electrode material for all vanadium redox flow battery. These carbon base materials have a low electrochemical activity. So, in this paper, we conducted a heat treatment, as a dry process, and observed a performance and efficiency of batteries through charge-discharge test. Also, We confirmed that a oxygen functional group improving a electrochemical activity is generated through XPS(X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy) analysis. Furthermore, We confirmed a oxidation · reduction reaction and reversibility through a CV(Cyclic voltammetry) test and resistance of electrode through a impedance measurement.
