제목 | Analysis of the multilayer thin films prepared by dip vs spin self-assembly method |
초록 | We have demonstrated that the well-ordered multilayer thin films could be produced in a very short time using a spin self-assembly (SA) method. We found out different effect of multilayer formation according to SA methods. PDAC and PSS in aqueous solutions were used to prepare multilayer films based on electrostatic interaction and on the other hand, the multilayer films through H-bonding interaction were fabricated by PVP and PAA dissolved in methanol. Here, the respective multilayer films using electrostatic and hydrogen bonding were also prepared by dip and spin SA methods in order to investigate the adsorption mechanism of two different methods. The adsorption amounts and the thickness of thin films were characterized by UV-Vis spectroscopy, AFM and X-ray reflectivity. For both electrostatic and H-bonded SA multilayer films, spin SA method yields the uniform films with lower surface roughness compared to the dip SA method. Furthermore, the adsorbed amount of the film based on electrostatic interaction is significantly increased by spin SA method than by dip SA method. However, in the case of H-bonding interaction, the film forming methods make no effect on the film thickness and adsorbed amount. |
