Multi-chain-end functionalized polyisoprene will be synthesized by using hydroxy and amine substituted 1,1-diphenylethylene(DPE) derivatives with poly(isoprenyl)lithium.Although DPE does not homopolymerize, anionic copolymerization with styrene or dienes show us a perfect method for introducing several units of DPE derivatives into the chain end. Herein, 1-(4-t-butyldimethyl-siloxyphenyl)-1-phenylethylene,2,2,5,5-tetra-methyl-1-[4-(1-phenylvinyl)phenyl]-1,2,5-azasisilodine would be used as the multi-functional agents. For this purpose, styrene, 2,3-dimethylbutadiene would be used as the comonomers considering that the reactivity ratio values are less than 1.0 to DPE (M2) in hydrocarbon solvents which means tendency to obtain alternating copolymer. [Styrene(M1): r1=0.7 in benzene; 2,3-Dimethyl- butadiene(M1): r1=0.23 in benzene] |
