Novel stem cell therapy using blue light based photobiomodulation for improving angiogenesis in mouse hindlimb ischemia |
초록 |
Photobiomodulation has drawn attention as a new method for enhancing therapeutic efficacy in various diseases. We introduced blue organic light emitting diode as a safe and effective light source compared to the conventional light emitting diode and laser. In this study, we tried to investigate the most efficient properties such as wavelength and light fluence that can improve therapeutic angiogenesis. Based on our research, optimized blue light, improved angiogenic efficacy of human adipose derived stem cells (hADSCs) without phototoxicity. Ischemic tissue damages were decreased and angiogenesis was significantly increased when hADSCs with blue light treatment were transplanted to the ischemic animal model. |
