Fabrication of CdS-SnS2 Core-shell Heteronanostructures for Visible Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution |
초록 |
Solar hydrogen generation via artificial photosynthesis represents a promising way to convert and store solar energy into chemical H2 fuel. CdS, as a typical visible-light driven photocatalyst, was considered as one of the most promising candidates for H2 generation due to its suitable band gap potentials. However, the photocatalytic activities of CdS are far more exciting due to the severe photocorrosion and rapid recombination of photogenerated electron-hole pairs. The photocatalytic activities of CdS were greatly enhanced through depositing co-catalyts on CdS. As an n-type semiconductor, SnS2 has narrower band gap energy (1.91-2.35 eV) which make it attractive as co-catalyt. Here we established 1D-0D CdS-SnS2 heterostructures as an efficient and stable photocatalytic system for H2 evolution. |
