Although having potential applications using gold nanoparticle (GNPs), there is always significant importance has been dramatically increasing industrially and research applications as well using uniform size GNPs. However, divergent protocols are available for the synthesis of GNPs, but these approaches are always being suffering with the formation of different sized GNPs. As a result, herein we have been employed Turkevitch-Frens method for the uniform, well distributed and controlled size GNPs through the addition of reducing agents. In this approach, gold chloride (HAuCl4) was reduced by the addition of citric acid in water and its concentration was also influence the formation of GNPs. Furthermore, different sized GNPs were synthesized using various concentration of tri-sodium citrate (TCD). Finally, UV-vis, FT-IR, SEM, and DLS analytical techniques have been employed for the characterization of as prepared GNPs. |
